Embracing Transformation in the Year of the Fire Horse

We are about to step into the Chinese Year of the Fire Horse, which I have been anticipating, preparing for and thinking about for quite a while. This may be the fastest moving, most precipitative, Chinese Year of them all. The Horse likes to run and the Fire element is the most Yang of all the Chinese Five Elements, therefore it is a dynamic mix. Horses are also highly intuitive creatures and they are sensitive.

The Chinese historically have not been great fans of the Fire Horse due to its impulsive nature and it is more rebellious and temperamental to handle than the other Horses. There was an actual drop in the recorded birth rate in China for the last Fire Horse Year - the culture of the time didn't want to birth feisty children that were hard to handle, especially not Fire Horse girls who were considered particularly troublesome and hard to marry off.

That feels rather personal as I am a Fire Horse, although I have come to embrace my innate nature. My favourite song of all time is Rebel, Rebel by David Bowie. My challenge this year will be to harness the energy, be true to myself and avoid burning out.

You'll experience the Fire Horse energy in different ways according to your Chinese horoscope, but it is likely to stir things up whichever year you were born and could see people standing up for their rights on a local, national, or even global level. We all need to watch out for potential burnout and keep tending to our energy, resting as needed, eating well, exercising moderately - doing all the things we can to stay healthy and in balance.

Today I've been cleaning house ready for the entrance of the Fire Horse, particularly around my front door and hallway which is the 'mouth of chi' where the energy enters. If you are reading this before the 17th do a quick check on your front door and make sure it is clean and uncluttered to welcome the Horse in. If you read this on the 17th or after wait until the Fire Horse energy has had time to settle, you don't want to symbolically sweep it out. In fact traditionally you should pause on cleaning in the early days of the New Year so that you don't wash your luck away - some advice even says don't wash your hair at New Year. I'm not sure feeling dirty would be particularly auspicious - clean what you need to, but don't do any extra washing or vacuuming if things can be left a while.

The 2026 Chinese New Year feels especially potent with some big astrological changes occurring simultaneously. The Horse enters on a 'ring of fire' solar eclipse at the New Moon on the 17th. Normally I create my annual vision board around January 1st. This time I held off from the process, feeling my 'real' New Year was still to come. I'll be focusing on what I would like to manifest in the Year of the Horse in the coming days so that my Horse energy knows which direction to gallop. You might like to follow suit.

I received this channelling as part of my Preparation for the Year of the Fire Horse mini course which I ran through the last month to get ready. Together we cleared a lot of space on all levels of our being. Tune into my Guides' message of the radical transformation possible now:

'There is a reset available to every man, woman and child on Earth at this time if they so desire it. You have only to ask to move onto the new timeline which has a higher vibration and will take you on a smoother journey, however some will not step on because they are too attached to the drama of the past and you cannot take that with you. Yes, you will still know your story, it will not be erased, but the emotions that you attach to it will be dissolved so that you can look upon it dispassionately and extract the learnings for yourself and others.

You only need to be willing to let go of the attachments you have to the pain and suffering, to the blame and the misery. It should perhaps be easy, but we know many millions will not take the journey into the New Aeon and would rather live out their lives with the familiar, even though it is difficult and holds them trapped by their own minds.

Some have called this time the Great Reset and it is a fitting term. There is a dividing of ways, a shift in the possible experiences available to you now. Will you step onto a new path of higher frequency or will you allow the drag of the past to hold you back? Only you can do this. We must cheer you on from the sidelines, we cannot make the choices for you.

Close your eyes and allow a vision of your highest potential to arise in your view. Notice how you feel in your body when you connect with this possible future. Sense a change in the way you sit or stand. Notice your expression. Notice the upliftment in your heart and mind. This is your future Self calling to you, asking you to make the journey, to release the density of the past.

Become aware of the levels now. See the density of the world you have inhabited to this point and the lighter frequency coming in on the planet. You can see the levels separating – two distinct realities.

It is as simple as stepping on an escalator that carries you up smoothly. You cannot stand on both floors at once. You either move to the new level or you stay where you are. We have given you a taste of the higher frequency, the smallest hint of what is possible. The peace your mind could experience, the light that is accessible.

You have been trying to bridge the worlds and keep one foot in the density. You worry about leaving people behind that you love, yet there is a higher frequency of others available too. Those you are meant to continue to walk with will also make the shift. Some will not and this must be their choice. Yes that will necessitate some Tower moments, some breaches and rifts, yet you are making them to free yourself for the New World emerging and when you experience the energy of the New you will not miss the old.

Do not hold yourself back for others. Instead be the example and lead the way so that more can make this journey. It has taken Aeons for humanity to reach a moment where an uplevelling of energy can occur on a mass scale. Let it not pass you by.'
