It was great to be quoted in the July - August 2021 edition of Kindred Spirit. I was asked about my stance on the ethics of mining and buying crystals. This is an important subject and the journalist has written a well balanced, thought-provoking article. It is well worth reading and fair - unlike some of the media-bashing that crystal lovers received in the press a year or two ago!
I do believe we owe it to the planet to source our crystals as carefully as we can and more transparent information regarding where the crystals were sourced should be available from wholesalers. It would be good to see certification brought in on a par with Fairtrade to be certain that workers are not being exploited too.
